SAMSUNG LED TV’S-Future is here

Ever since Samsung introduced itself to the world in 1969 it has gone on to become one of the largest electronic companies in the world, thanks to its efforts to deliver cutting edge and innovative technology. Now Samsung has come up with a new species of HD TV’s-the LED TV which is said to be the GOD FATHER of next generation HD TV technology. LED TV’s have been dubbed to be the future for wide screen televisions and Samsung leads the way with their energy saving features, stunning designs and immaculate performance.
They have come up with 4 different models and they are:

The new technology has already received the prestigious “Innovation Award” from the EISA (European Image and Sound Association) for its superb features which include:
A. Actual Width of the LED TV is 2.99 cm . The use of LED technology enables Samsung’s LEDTVs to be unbeleivable 70 percent slimmer than the conventional one. Samsung has also reduced the gap between the TV and the wall to around 15mm, where earlier all flat screen models had a gap of 2 inches from the wall. By reducing this space, the Samsung LED TVs truly look like a picture frame hanging on a wall.
B. The depth is the first most noticeable feature which comes up with a state of art crystal design. Samsung’s Series 6 and 7 being only 1.2″ thin are being made from one single part rather than multiple parts being built together.
C. To deliver stunning and picture perfect colours Samsung has come up with certain features such as Mega Contrast Ratio to enhance greys to give authentic blacks for brighter images, a Wide Colour Enhancer Pro with LED Gamut and 100Hz Motion Plus technology which will deliver extreme detail, vibrancy and colour.
D. Above all this beautiful masterpeice is recyclable and environmentally friendly with a frame that contains no VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds), up to 40% lower power consumption and an ultra low power consuming standby mode.
E. Also includes a Samsung WS1* Sound Bar Surround System for realistic acoustics.
In addition to above all features Series 7 of this LED TV comes up with a pebble shaped remote control which separates the series, with series 7 being the first to adopt such an attractive and comfortable remote.

To be frank I am speechless when I visualize its slimness. It is needless to say that the color and picture of images are simply stunning.So absolute beauty. 5/5

Three ‘Durable’ Lies - Manufactured by Samsung:
1st lie: LED TV technology is a wholly new technology (actually its at least 5yrs old tecnology)
2nd lie: Samsung screen is LED (actually the panel/screen is LCD and only the backlighting is LED; also they are using only ‘edge LED backlighting’ as opposed to ‘direct LED backlighting’)
3rd lie: On Samsung’s website they have separated LED TV from LCD TV, giving an impression that LCD & LED are completely different

Interesting post. It’s funny to see how Samsung have created huge hype surrounding their new range of TVs by branding them as “LED”, despite them not strictly being so. Still, they offer great contrast and are environmentally friendly, so I think will probably be worth it when the prices begin to fall.
